Dental Care Plans
More than 5.2 million people in Scotland are registered with an NHS dentist. Yet Public Health Scotland reports only 61.7% have attended in the past two years. Our dental plans are designed to help make routine dental care more accessible and predictable. One fixed monthly payment covers check-ups, hygiene appointments and emergency assistance, with options to suit different oral health needs.

What are dental plans and how do they work?
A dental plan is a membership with the practice that spreads the cost of routine care across the year. Instead of paying per appointment, you pay one set amount each month. In return, the plan includes your examinations and hygiene appointments, plus a discount on most other private dental treatments.
Memberships can help make budgeting for routine dental care simpler and encourage regular attendance, which plays an important role in maintaining good oral health. You can think of it like servicing your car. Small, scheduled attention now prevents far bigger repairs later.
Get in touch with us on 0141 812 8420, and our patient-focused team will help you choose between our dental care plans.

- Predictable monthly payments that make dental health easy to budget for
- Prevention is built into your year, so small problems are caught before they grow
- Fewer surprise bills, because the cost of routine care is already handled
- A familiar team who get to know you, your history and your goals over time
Plans are open to every adult in the family, each with a level of cover to suit them. Whether you’re comparing private dental care plans or searching for a convenient way to manage routine dental care, our experienced team will match the services included to your oral needs.
How check-ups support healthy teeth
Routine appointments are the quiet heroes of oral health. Examinations allow your dentist to look for signs of decay, gum disease and other oral health concerns, which may be easier to manage when identified early. Hygienist sessions then remove the hardened plaque that brushing alone cannot shift, helping you maintain healthy teeth in between.
NICE guidance sets the recommended interval between check-ups at three months to two years, depending on your individual risk. Your dentist will agree on the right schedule with you. Regular hygienist care matters even more if you wear dentures or have implants.

Which plan suits your dental health needs?
If you visit twice a year and want straightforward prevention, the Essential Care Plan keeps things simple. If your gums need closer attention, or you have implants to protect, the maintenance option doubles your hygiene visits and adds year-round support.
Still weighing it up? Total up what you would normally spend on examinations, hygiene and the occasional filling, then compare the monthly figure. Many patients find that a dental health care plan saves money while making prevention feel effortless. If nerves have kept you away, our team welcomes nervous patients with genuine compassion.
A plan is a direct arrangement with your dental team. Your monthly payment goes toward agreed routine items, plus discounts, with no claim forms to chase. Insurance works through a third party instead. You usually pay for treatment first, then claim a portion back, subject to policy limits and exclusions.
For many patients who attend regularly, a dental membership plan can provide a straightforward way to budget for routine care. Whether a plan or insurance is more suitable will depend on your individual circumstances.
Yes, and you will never be judged for the gap. You start with a full examination so we understand where your mouth is today. We complete any outstanding dental treatment first, which means your plan begins from a healthy baseline. After that, ongoing access to routine appointments makes staying ahead far easier than catching up.
Yes, joining is not a lifelong commitment. You pay monthly and can cancel by giving notice, with the exact period set out in the Dental Plan Terms & Conditions and Scheme Handbook below. If money feels tight, speak to us before you cancel. We can often help you keep your preventive care going in a way that works for your budget.
